On December 4, 2023 in Helsinki (Finland) between JSC “National Holding “QazBioPharm” and the leading Finnish pharmaceutical company “Orion Corporation” signed a Partnership and Supply Agreement.

The signing ceremony was attended by Yergali Abduraimov, General Director of the Holding, Ahomaki Satu, Vice President of Orion, Victor Pushkarev, Director of the CIS Region of Orion, Zhanna Sartbaeva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Finland, and Zakir Ershebulov, General Director of OtarBioPharm LLP.
The agreement provides for the production of final pharmaceutical products for medical use using the chemical compound Levosimendan (levosimendan) on the production site of the plant OtarBioPharm LLP using Orion technology.
The document is aimed at strengthening long-term mutually beneficial partnership between the parties, as well as to support Kazakhstan’s efforts to intensify cooperation with global pharmaceutical corporations.
