Signing of license, supply and partnership agreement between JSC «National Holding «QazBioPharm» and French company Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health France

January 16, 2024 in the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the French Republic in the city of Paris, signed an agreement on license, supply and partnership between JSC “National Holding “QazBioPharm” (hereinafter – Holding) and the company “Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health France” (hereinafter – BIAH).
As a result of this agreement, there is no doubt that cooperation between the two countries in the field of health care, agriculture will be further strengthened. This is one of the most important steps for the future of our country.
This form of cooperation allows to use the strengths of both companies to ensure effective production of vaccine, which in turn can contribute to providing the market with a quality drug to combat infectious disease.
As a result of the cooperation, Kazakhstan has the opportunity to become a FMD-free country, meeting OIE standards, which will allow the country to export meat to foreign markets, including EU countries.
The Heads of State of the two countries, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the French Republic, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed support for the signing of an agreement on licenses, supplies and partnership.
In this regard, the strategic agreement between Kazakhstan and France this year turns 16 years old. Also during the visit of the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron on November 1, the Head of State also noted that «France is a very important and reliable partner of Kazakhstan in Europe, and further strengthening of this cooperation, based on friendship and mutual support, is our common task». Today’s agreement is a vivid expression of this statement.
