Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Cuba

On May 22 and 23 of this year, meetings were held with representatives of the companies Center for Molecular Immunology, Finlay Institute and Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, which are part of the BioCubaFarma group of companies. The Cuban side presented a number of therapeutic drugs, including the drug Cimavax-EGF. The Kazakh side made a presentation on the Holding and its subsidiaries, main developments (vaccines, diagnostic tests, therapeutic drugs). Also information on biopharmaceutical plant “OtarBioPharm” was provided. As a result of the meeting an agreement was reached to establish further cooperation.
