Official visit of BioCubaFarma delegation to Kazakhstan took place

In order to intensify bilateral cooperation between JSC “National Holding “QazBioPharm” and the Group of biotechnological and pharmaceutical industry of Cuba, “BioCubaFarma” in the period from February 22 to 24 of this year, an official visit of the delegation of “BioCubaFarma” to Kazakhstan took place.

Within the framework of the visit meetings were held with the management of the Holding, as well as subsidiary organizations, such as the National Center for Biotechnology, Research Institute of Biological Safety Problems and OtaBioPharm. During the meetings, the parties familiarized themselves with the national health care system of both countries, discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects, including contract manufacturing, product distribution and R&D activities.

At the same time, on February 23 this year a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Group of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industry of Cuba and the National Holding “QazBioPharm”.

The parties expressed interest in further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
