Aralbek Rsaliyev was born in 1979 in the city of Aral, Kyzylorda region. He started his career at the Research Institute of Agricultural Sciences (since 2010 – Research Institute of Biological Safety Problems) in 2001 as a senior laboratory assistant. In 2003 he became a junior researcher, in 2010 – a senior researcher, and in 2010 – a senior researcher. – In 2003 he became a junior researcher, in 2010 a senior researcher, in 2013 a senior researcher, and in 2013 a leading researcher. – Leading researcher, and since September 2, 2013 he was transferred to the position of head of the laboratory.
Since September 1, 2022, he has been Deputy Director General for Science, Commercialization and Production of JSC «National Holding «QazBioPharm».
Academic degree:
In 2009, he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences.
In 2020 he was awarded the academic title of Professor in the specialty “03.01.00 – Biology”.
To improve his professional skills, A. Rsaliev underwent foreign internships in China (Beijing, 2006), Turkey (CIMMYT, Izmir, 2014), Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, 2006-2022). Regularly participates and makes reports at conferences and seminars of different levels.
In 2021-2023 he was the Chairman of the National Scientific Council on the priority direction «Rational use of water resources, fauna and flora, ecology».
Member of dissertation councils for Phd dissertations at Kazakh National Agrarian Research University and Kyzylorda Korkyt Ata University. He is a member of editorial boards of scientific journals “Biosafety and Biotechnology” and “Bulletin of Kyzylorda Korkyt Ata University, Series of Agricultural Sciences”.
Prof. A.S. Rsaliev has made a significant contribution to the development of science in the field of food and biological safety and biotechnology. During the period from 2012 to 2022 he was the scientific director of 10 scientific projects and one scientific and technical program, implemented under grant and program-targeted funding. As a result of implementation of the above projects and scientific-technical programs, unique scientific results were obtained, which were highly appreciated and found practical application in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Author of more than 170 scientific papers, including 17 articles in foreign peer-reviewed journals indexed by Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) and Scopus databases, 10 copyright certificates for patents and innovation patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 8 methodological recommendations and 3 monographs.

He has trained two Masters and is currently the supervisor of 2 PhD doctoral students.
